McHenry and Associates, Inc. are experienced in the design of nursing and skilled nursing home facilities, special care facilities and assisted living facilities for the elderly. Below is a list of some recent projects:

1) Lutheran Home Renovations and Campus ExpansionWestlake, Ohio
This project included renovation and design of three new buildings.  The existing 81,000 sq. ft. building was renovated to include 120 individual patient rooms, therapy rooms, activity rooms, nursing areas and office space.  A new 69,000 sq. ft. building comprised of 82 patient units, core nursing areas, activity rooms, and offices was designed and another 284,000 sq. ft. building containing of a chapel, kitchen, medical offices, barber/beauty shop, activity rooms, and office space.

2) Menorah Park Center for Senior LivingBeachwood, Ohio
This senior living campus consists of several buildings designed for the various stages of elderly care, ranging from long-term care to independent living.  McHenry & Associates, Inc. has been involved with several new construction projects and renovation projects at the facility for many years, such as:
- Stone Gardens, Phase 3- Three-story, 21 suite, multi-family assisted living facility.

Wiggins Place- Three-story, 116 suite, licensed residential care facility.

Weinberg Pavilion- Two-story, 66 unit nursing facility.

3) The Gardens of McGregor and Amasa Stone Nursing FacilityEast Cleveland, Ohio
155,000 sq. ft., five-story, 146 bed skilled nursing facility, including a 17,000 sq. ft. Community building with a greenhouse, library,  and 400 seat auditorium and a 45,000 sq. ft. two-story, indoor parking garage.  The project has obtained an award for “Outstanding Achievement for Projects in Progress” Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments and Nursing Homes Magazine’s Design 2002
